Duty Calls Out Gears of World War II

Everyone likes a good scuffle every now and then, but this?  Bam.  Ouch.  Treyarch Activision lays the hurt on Gearbox, straight up saying that the new Brothers in Arms game is “crap,” not even “in the same league” as Call of Duty.  Since my original source was Joystiq, you might think it was taken a little out of context and not without a tinge of black humor, but after looking at the interview material, I can see that they weren’t kidding (burn at 1:00 or so).

EDIT: As it turns out, Kotaku did a little digging and discovered that it was not a statement from Treyarch, but rather Activision.  I guess that teaches us to check the staff rosters next time around…
